Schumann’s Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood) was originally written for solo piano. I transcribed it for tuba and piano in the hope of expanding the limited tuba repertoire. Later on, I transcribed it for bass trombone and piano as I thought it would sound good on the trombone. Kinderszenen is a collection of thirteen short pieces each of a different character.
