Snowscapes for two pianos depicts different winter scenes, such as a lone bare tree standing in the middle of a snow-covered field, fairy-tale-like cottages scattered on the slopes of snow-capped mountains, children building snowmen and having fun snowballing one another... The style is a mixture of Neo-Classical and New Age.
This piece was premiered by the composer and her twin sister, Shao Ying, on 11th September 2011 at the Singapore Management University.
