I love the combined sound of the flute and oboe, and when I came upon this old composition written way back in 1996, I decided to turn this solo piano piece into a trio for flute, oboe and piano. The first version was completed on 27th July 2012, but I extended and completed it on 27th November 2012 as I felt that it sounds more complete this way. This soothing and calming piece depicts a person lying on the grass, daydreaming of his ideal life, with the wind blowing softly across the pasture, and the grass and daffodils swaying gently in the breeze.

Sweet Dreams won 3rd Prize (Category B) at the 2015 International Composition Competition “Maurice Ravel” in Bergamo, Italy.

This piece is found in my “Music Diaries” album, available on Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify.
